How to run graphics on small LCD with Linux-based microcontroller

hi friends,

can some1 tell me
1. how to run Graphics on small lcd with Linux based microcontroller
- driver how to? linux sw where? how to?
2. Exist any Linux tools for my grapihics like wins has with CVI, LabView etc.

where to fin all this HOw to ?

I would like use Linux not PalmOs etc ..

Not quite for graphics but really great:

This allows simulated bar graphs etc. which might be enough for what you want.

look to the cellular phone, PLDs, toys etc.
graphisc graphics, PALMOS or other ..

I think the primary problem is that I do not know how
to do Linux graphisc on graphisc LCD ????? even cant find
information, forum etc.. thats realy bad .. even my knowledge is so ž
low that I can not make a good question ))))

secondary Linux primary can works with the video RAM (PC),
SVGA transfer Video ram to the Video display..

ok, I can fetch SVGA Monitor output and via xilinx translate Monitor
informations in graph. LCD pixel informations .. and I have Linux graphisc
on graph. LCD. BUT ...

I am sure SVGA & Xilinx are to much .. and I am sure I am not the first one who are thinking about that , even more, how to use tauch scren graph. LCD with Linux.

The second big question is about application tools. We all who once have worked with the in exampl. CVI or LabView or C builder know how to pritty easy is to build a complex application. Any1 knows the similar tool in Linux..? Any1 know where to find the more info ?

2)Choose an LCD module
3)Connect LCD to microcontroller
4)Write software
5)debug software

Google. Either get a datasheet for your chose LCD module and write the driver youself or search the internet for code.

Most microcontrollers do not have the RAM or the processor features to run a standard linux kernal.
There is uclinux for some high end microcontrollers.
AMD makes 32bit x86 microcontrollers that will run linux.

Google. Books. Do some general background reading about microcontrollers and LCD interfacing. Read the uclinux forums.
