how to read file format in PostScript

also you may want to check the file type with the file command

you must use the Acrobat Distiller to export your .ps file to .pdf file. After that, you read .pdf file by Acrobat reader, or acrobat adobe

Uncompress it and just run GSview,

Windows,

Use GSView, but take care while installing Acrobat Reader

install adobe arcorbat ....
it can transfer ps to pdf......
and you can read by arcorbat reader

on linux, you should only do:
1) gzip -d gcc.ps.gz
2) gv gcc.ps
(hope you selected gv when you were installing your linux

Hello,
you must install the Adobe acrobat full version. the adobe reader itself can not open the postscript files.
