How to put anyone's mobile in silent mode when he/she enters a room?

i want to know whether its possible to put anyone's mobile in silent mode automatically when he/she enters a conference hall or an auditorium
 

plz help...

There is no way you can change the mobile phone from ringging mode to silent mode without physically pressing the keypad.

some mobiles have timed profile mode provided you know the time you would enter the hall or auditorium....

I believe it is technologically possible only perhaps such mobile has not yet been realized or no one has seen the need to incorporate that feature perhaps since the extra cost may not justify the effort.
