ads help pls

hi all,i want to put antenna file as port 1,how.pls in steps
i have s par in touchstone file,is that in picture rigth,or i put port

Re: ads help pls

Hi abdoeng

Just put the S-par file in your @DS project directory
then in the schematic window use that drop down menu
to select "Data Items" The just pick the corresponding
port model of you S-Par file and link that file to the Data Item.
It should be straightforward.
Good Luck

Re: ads help pls

Please find attached an example in ADS to show this. Just change the extension in zap and unarchive directly with ADS (or use winzip).
I hope it can help.

Re: ads help pls

It seems like you are sweeping this device out side of it's Frequency range.
The S-Para is only defind from 8GHz-12GHz so make sure your FREQ SWEEP
is with in this range.
Cheers

Re: ads help pls

Hi guys,

I'm doing a similar simulation: plugging S-para of antenna from Momentum sim into HB sim in schematic. However, after I do this, I can't get the circuit to oscillate no matter what... The S11 data is from 1-15GHz, oscillator freq=6GHz. Something I missed out?

Thanks!
