How to program PIC10fxx microcontroller

hi,

anyone got any idea how to program pic10f2xx uc?
can we use jdm86 to do that? how?
what prrogrammer? as i know icprog and ponyprog don't have these uc in its list.

Hi,

I just build one yesterday. Im using ICD2 with MPLAB and Hi-t*ch compiler version 8.05. Works fine and you can program the PIC10F without any problem.

Yes,

But you will need to add resistors 4.7K between the PGD and PGC lines to your circuit board. i.e The programing lines will not be interfierd from your external hardware. If they will, then you will not be able to program the device correctly.

The Epic programmer will program them, although the
adapter is going to cost more than the programmer.

Another idea:

I have just read in the Microchip Forum, some guys are using the JDM + ICPROG to burn the 10F PIC series. They found that to burn them, we have to select the 12C508, load the hex and burn the 10FXXX. But it was impossible to erase or to reprogram them. So if we select the 16F877, we can erase the 10FXXX. I have not tested yet.

I want to flash it with 10F202

Have you tried out the method yet? does it work? program using ICprog by selecting 12C508 and erase it using 16F8777.
