How to preserve the hierarchy in ISE???

When I translate the edif that contains hierarchy information to verilog usign ngd2ver in ISE. It flattern the netlist and change the naming style to "escaped name". I have used -insert_keep_hierarchy when running ngdbuild. How Can I perserve the hierarchy???
