Hello!
I have the following problem: I would like to power a device with USB type C connector on the PCB.
With micro B, you can use a few resistors to make sure you can get more power than the default
100mA. Does anyone know how to do that with USB-C?

I would use a A type to C type to connect the device to my PC. With a plain wiring, I would get
a minimal current. Now does anybody know how to place the resistors in case of USB-C?

Thanks

Hi,

What I'd do:
* read the USB specifications
* read application notes
* look for design examples
