how to plot eyediagram in cadence tool?

can any one help me,how to plot eyediagram in CADENCE?what does mean start time ,stop time ,period..........?
 

This function is available in the calculator. Apply this function to your signal. Here is an exemple.

start time, stop time are the limits of the pulse train between which its data will be used for the eye diagram.
period is the time of one period of the incident pulse signal (in seconds).
