Hi

how can i place a ground plane by the auto router facility of proteus ? i.e. like the plane is connected to the Gnd of the circuit. I ususally go for a single sided PCB.

Secondly what is the diff. b/w autorouter and electra in proteus ??

Thirdly Autorouter gets stuck and I cannot stop it. Since I am not the administrator of windows I cannot use Ctrl+alt+del so how else can i stop the autorouter ?

Thanks

Planes are placed using the plane tool (icon) and assigned to a net on placement.

ELECTRA is a shape based router and therefore performs better with fine pitch SMT and/or densely packed boards.

Thirdly Autorouter gets stuck and I cannot stop it. Since I am not the administrator of windows I cannot use Ctrl+alt+del so how else can i stop the autorouter ?

Press the ESCAPE key.

Iain.
