How to patch a new module to network simulator?

Hi all

Iam new to Network simulator(NS)and linux

Anyone please tell me how to patch a new module in NS and run it to see the output.

For this i learnt that i have to make some modification in the make file(that is add the .cc files to the make file) and then use make and makedepend commands then configure it using the command ./configure command.

my problem is I dont know how to add the .cc files to the makefile.
plz help me.

i need to attach a GPRS module to my ns-2.26 for my project.so Kindly help me
