Hi, all

I try to install the synopsys tools in linux. But the install.now file can't find the setup file that named with small letters.

I dont want to manual install those tools.

How to modify the install.now file?

Such as installing the Design Compiler.

Thanks

just open the install.now script in a text editor in linux like emacs or vi and edit what ever u want.

install.now just is some scripts statement u can open it with edit! find this sentence which u need to modify ! then.....save
run! .that's okay!

Re: How to modify the install.now during setup synopsys tool

Hi all,

Why I can't continue to install the synopsys software when the install.now ask me to select a platform? Whatever I type, it always tell me that's an invaild platform. Then the install program can not go on.

Best Regards

For new tools of synopsys, you may need a synopsysinstaller from synopsys.
