I encounter a trouble: I have a compiled MEM, but my design need a re-spin to modify a pin routing with some minus metal (like M1/via12/M2) inside this MEM. we know MEM is so bigger and so many hierarches.
At first, I did like this: select ALL and flatten this big MEM into 1 level (otherwise I can't touch the M1/M2 which is inside a subcell but it's need to be change for the re-spin.) Such solution is OK for DRC checking after modifying, but failed LVS, because when I flatten ALL, the subcell's pins are also all poped up to the top level; thus, LVS reports so many TEXT_short errors. So I doubt "flatten all" solution is not a good way. So does anyone has some good suggestions on this?
much appreciation for answer!
