Dear People,

When we are dealing with Inductor for the reason of bandwidth extension purpose in CMOS Transimpedance Amplifier Design, it is recommended to have a good linear phase response. And the Gain response of the TIA also should be as falt as possible in order to avoid peaking and minimize jitter. How do I measure the "PHASE RESPONSE" from the simulation. As I know group delay is the rate of change of phase response to frequency. So, in order to measure group delay, i need to know on the measurement of phase response. What is the actual method or calculation involved in phase response measurement. Is it to do with phase margin of the system ?

Thanks in advance,
Suria3
