how to make hollow box or sphere in HFSS

iam new to hfss plz help me out

you can create two boxes/spheres and then subtract them by booln operator.

other than this, can we define the material inside a box or sphere (like defining dielectric in a metal box)
 

yes you can make arbitrary shaped dielectric inside the metal. a wide variety of the circuits (High frequency circuits) placed inside the cavity/ metal box.

oh, how to make it.
 

you can create your circuit in the HFSS workplane and set all the boundary condition to "Prefec E". This is means that circuit is inside the cavity metal.
