hi there ,
I am a novice to this Forum . I want to make my PC remote Controlled
I have TSOP1738 , Serial Port and stuff but i dont know how to make
use of these things to make my PC remote Controlled ..


If someone has already done that , can u help me ???

Can u tell me ur friends id i wanna ask him something , if u could answer that then it will be better
i want to ask what type of codes are to be transmitted by ur remote to make that thing work
like should it be 8 bit and what should be length of each bit and the gap between eacg bit
like that

I think he was using a simple tv remote control, but for information about length of bit and type of codes try to read this:

SONY, HITACHI, NEC, PIONEER, JVC ....
