build your own pic debugger
Ether buy or build one that's already programmed. Based on your previous posts it's doubtful you have the time or skill to reverse engineer one.
Have you progressed at all on your final project? It's a poor choice to copy someone else's design for your thesis, why would you want to build your own PIC debugger with your own software.
Here's a hint.
1.Get a debugger clone or build one, serial preferred.
2. Use a serial port sniffer and capture the data as the debugger code is loaded to the PIC. It's about 256bytes so it's not too tough.
3. Disassemble the debugger and see what's happening.
4. Attempt to communicate with the debugger and your own custom loader.
