Your TV Antennae gets every TV service that is being transmitted, mostly ,at an extremely low signal strength. If your TV service is UHF and the aerial is a yagi, that is a lot of decreasing bars in a line, then the aerial is directional, so if you rotate it there may be other stations available at a reasonable signal strength.
