Guys,

Is there any possibilities making a BGA socket by myself ? PCB on top of PCB and then clip the chip ?
Or where's the seller of BGA adapter with a low cost for learning ?
Any experiences, links ?

Thanks

Hi,

The are spring contacts, but I doubt it is a benefit.

It will be difficult to route, and pcb and contacts may be more expensive than the chip itself.

It depends on the device.. there are 8 pin BGAs and 800 pin BGAs. ...

The only reason you'd want to put a BGA into a socket is to flash firmware onto it. BGA sockets are extremely expensive, so it's generally cheaper to first try to solder them with dummy parts until you get the hang of it.

there are 2 ways:
1. if your bga is special ,you can make a pcb that change the bga to another connector.but the bga is past to the pcb
2.if your bga is common, you can buy a socket from eletronic marcket
