How to make ISIS place single layers ?

What about Proteus?

Help with Proteus

I'm designing a pcb and I'm using the PIC16F870. The problem is that in ISIS you can't connect the VDD and VSS pins to something while I want to connect a capacitor to it. And buttons and batterys are not there in ARES.

The second problem that I'm dealing with is how to make ISIS place single layers. This problem has been dealt with somewhere else in this forum but the solution didn't work.

If somebody please can help me, thnx
