I don't think "inductor" is the right word.

Old National, et al databooks had many application circuits to pick from. Bet those old Radio Shack books by Forrest Mims III had exactly that kind of thing too, so rip-offs are probably out there.

I'd start with older datasheet revs which carried those application figures in the back pages.

Of course "555 LED flash" is something you could Google for yourself to fill the empty moments between question and answers-that-satisfy.
