How to make a PrintScreen under Linux?

PrintScreen at REDHAT

At window, we can use PrintScreen at the keyboard to capture the image.

At LInux, how can we do this?

I need it to do my report.

Open up Gimp->File->Acquire->Screenshot

If you are using Gnome as your desktop environment,the printscreen key still works

if you use kde environment, you can find 'ksnapshot' program on it.
