Re: pcb in protel

Hi ebi82,
Once you're finished with creating the schematics, you have to :

1- Annotate your components {Tools → Annotate} , u click Update changes, then Accept changes. (figure-1).

2- A new window shows up, u click Execute changes, then close. and after that save your schematics. (figure-2).

Now you have created the NetList, and you can begin your PCB.

3- Create a new PCB (figure-3).

4- Configure your board options {design → board options}, u can configure measurement unit, snap grid . . . (figure-4).

5- Define the board's shape {Design → Board Shape → Redefine Board Shape}. (figure-5).

6- Now, u can import the netlist u already created { Design → Import Changes From <Your Pcb name>}. (figure-6).

7- Finally u can place your components and then route them.

Hope it helps.
Regards,
Hassen.
