How to make a 24 hour clock using VHDL?

Hi All

Can anyone help me with a 24 clock using VHDL, its a project I m doing for school, any tips, advice or links would be great.

Hi,
You can take three counters one for hours,one for minutes and other for seconds.You can even take the counter for milli and micro second.
Whenever 60 counts of the second completes,just increase count of one minute.
similarly when counter of minutes reach 60 increase the count of hour by one.

In this way you can do it.
