Using Cores in VHDL

I am using Xilinx ISE4.1, and ModelSim 5.4a. I have generated a core and used it in my VHDL project. When I start ModelSim for simulation, it does not locate XilinxCoreLib. How to locate XilinxCoreLib? I have followed the sequence for instantiating the core in my design according to the core generator help.

Re: Using Cores in VHDL

in previous releases you had to extract the libraries from a big self extracted ziped file under
\xilinx\bin\nt folder, then you had to compile them in modelsim to generate the .dat files. !
pm if you need more help

Re: Using Cores in VHDL

You need to compile Simulation Libraries for your ModelSim Simulator..

Using Cores in VHDL

This is a problem I am thinking of.
who can you have a good idea or advice?
can you share with you?

Re: Using Cores in VHDL

I think you need to compile the coregen modules from Xilinx/vhdl/src/xilinxcoregen
for running simulation.
