Hi,
Good day, My kid has a toy laptop (educational gadget) that uses a three 1.5 (AA) dry cell battery. To sum up the said toy needs 4.5V supply, unfortunately dry cell batteries (disposable one) easily drained out. So what i've done was to use a DC adaptor multivoltage set to 4.5V but it turned out to be futile as the toy laptop wasn't functional, doesn't power-up anymore. I suspect that the current applied was too high for the unit to handle (1000mA max) and wants to limit the current flow. Am i correct or just the other way around? Please help me on this. Thanks.:|
