How to isolate an RS485

Hi,

which is the easyest way to isolate a RS485 connection?
I've a board with a standard rs485 transceiver to convert into an isolated link..
Any ideas?

Thanks

I believe you can buy galvanic isolation RS-485 parts.
Try Analog Devices, Linear Tech and TI with those keywords.

HI

Maxim also have some product in this filed - or you can use a MAX485/LTC485 with an optocupler on the digital side

See maxim application note for implementation

All the best

Bobi
