dear all

m making a project using pic microcontroller,in which i need rs485 communication link.can anyone please help me out with this rs485 thing. m new to this. please can anyone explain me basic idea how to interface rs485 with pic16f877a.

hi,
RS485 standard explained hardware network and it's feature not data format as well as communication management (software).
itis alot easier if your PIC has USART modul, then you only have to consider about your own data software management transceiver and mostly USART hardware driver has been taken care by your PIC USART modul
