How to interface 16bit DAC board using PIC18F452?

PIC18F452 to 16bit DAC

Hi,
I have a board with 16bit DAC (BB DAC71-CSB-V) that I want to interface using PIC18F452. How do I output a two's complement 16bit command to the IO?

Just connect several IO pins to the control lines of DAC, then simulate the protocol of control intereface by pull-up or pull-down these pins.
