"Ledit installation notes:
1) Install products, server(after install, run installer in \lserv710 manually and install it) and license utilities
if u installed everything well, the file leditpro90.tlu.tlu should have a recognized icon (yellow)
2) Double click on the tlu file, this will open the license installer, then press INSTALL
if it won't work, launch C:\Tanner\License\WlmAdmin.exe and with right button click you can add license,
tou your pcserver and its own license file
If u still can't get it to work... then read the file C:\Tanner\License\slm71sys.pdf
3) Now, u have to replace acs.key in C:\Tanner\LEdit84\dxf\lic and C:\Tanner\LEdit84\plot\lib
with the acs.key you purchased
4) OPen lshost file in C:\Tanner\LEdit84\dxf\lic and C:\Tanner\LEdit84\plot\lib and put your hostname inside
End of steps"
BTW, after the above installation, make sure you have the "SentinelLM" also installed correctly. You can check this under the C:/Program Files/Rainbow Technologies/ directory. It should NOT be an empty directory there. Good Luck!
What is TANNERHOST=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
Should I really put xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx or put the IP address, but what IP address should I put, I tried my ADSL IP, but still fail.
Read carefully file license.wri
Make system variables:
In Win98 put in autoexec.bat strings:
SET LSERVRC=C:\WINDOWS\lservrc
SET TANNERHOST=XXXXXXX
In win2k/XP:
Right-click on the My Computer icon.
Select Properties from the menu.
In the Properties dialog, select the Advanced tab.
Click Environment Variables…
Press Alt+W to open the New System Variable dialog box.
....
In system varyable TANNERHOST I use my computer name. You can see it in Network Properties. (As I have no network at Home). The Name must be in English. License installer put file lsevrc only in c:\windows folder.
In addition to TCP/IP protocol I add NetBEUI (Network Properties) (In win98)
