How to install Cadence IC-5.0.0.3 on Windows?

Cadence IC-5.0.0.3

I saw before on this site a screen shot which was taken for a schematic drawn on spectre, but the operating system was windows XP (as I saw the start button, the quick launch icons, ...)

So can we install cadence on Windows ??

You can run Cadence from a windows machine by connecting to a remote machine which would actually run cadence. This can be done using XWin32 or Exceed.

But what I know is that such programs open the linux or unix on the remote machine. But what i saw from the sent photo, that it works on windows !!!

Like XWin32 will open an XTERM panel and then when you start Cadence from that panel, it will open cadence but you will actually See the windows title bar on it. So on a screenshot it will look like its running in Windows.

yes, there is a Windows version for Cadence IC5033.

there is only 1ppm possiblity that cadence ic can work in windows.

my company use exceed to remote connect to sun server.
