I would like to test physical CAN errors such as faulting the ACK bit of a CAN message frame to see how my device behaves, or anything similar that will trigger an error frame condition.

Is this possible to do with CAPL?

We can not simulate ACK conditions in CAPL since CAN hardware itself acknowledge for incoming bytes.

We can check how our hardware behaves in Short to Bat, Short to Gnd or short together conditions.
