I am designing with a receiver, of which freqency covers from 3000MHz to 4000MHz, and power covers from -10dBm to +30dBm. I have to design some anti-ESD circuit casceded from the RF input port. However, I don't get any clue of the anti-ESD knowlege in RF field. The Transistent Voltage Suppression (TVS) is just used in the power supply lines. So would someone like to provide the name of some diodes or circuits or some links ? Thanks.
I asked the FAE of a very big european maker of M2M GSM/GPRS modem to explain me the meaning and the values of a PI filter placed between the output port and the SMA connector.
The PI network is an ESD filter.
It's composed of 2 Murata's 0402 shunt inductor of 15 nH and a 0402 series capacitor of 4.7 pF.
It's a PI cell L-C-L where the capacitor is in series with the RF signal and the inductors have a terminal connected to ground.
