Why do you try to use the DesignKit ?
Then you needn't to import the spcie models.

spice model in ads

spice models are more general models & it will be available for vendor device which may not be availble in kits format

ads spice import

I have successfully imported my own spice models into ADS where I had always selected PSPICE format. I know there are many more (HSPICE, ..) so my question is which of these formats is mostly used and most general?

Is it PSPICE?

use spice model in ads

if it is a discrete compoent for analog , it will be mostly Pspice

but if it is a model of IC technology it mostlty to be Hspice

khouly
