import cdl

Anybody know how to import a cdl netlist to generate a schematic library in candence?
thanks!

cadence import cdl

From the icfb

File
>>>> import

>>>>>>CDL

Fill out the form ensuring that the correct reference libraies are listed ie basic sample etc.

It work for me! The only thing I dont have is the parmeter file.
Try testing it on a very small schematic to start.

I am looking forward to tackling the problem...

The process is far from straightforward if you have not only MOSFETs but also diodes, resistors, etc.

Usually the CDL netlist provided with libraries are for LVS not for CDLin so you need to add keywords to make CDLin complete or even correct. Refer to Dracula syntax manual for details OR let me know if you want examples

Re: import cdl

the example is best ,thanks in advance!
