How to implement network parameters in Matlab?

How could i implement Network Parameters in MATLAB; such as MAC Protocal used (CAN, CSMA/CD, .... ), Packet Dropout Rang, Data Rate, Induced Time Delay.

I need this toolbox to implement it in MATLAB/Simulink for my thesis about Networked Control Systems.

Please help me :)

this is very difficult in MATLAB, so go for NS2 simulator.

Question please, can we use MATLAB to contact ns2 , I mean the MATLAB of MAC OS or Linux based in the same environment where we installed ns2.
