You could try the BIST for your ROM in your design.

in fact im testing the BIST(of the ROM) itself but the test coverage is too low.Is there anyway to improve it using synopsys tools (tetramax;design compiler..)

Usually, we get code coverage though simulation. Such as VCS of Synopsys.

During simulation, we build the Memory BIST logic for verifying the memory.

TetraMAX is for ATPG in testing.
DC is for synthesis.
