Low-pass filter

In the two stage op-amp the compensation capacitor will act as a low-pass filter . Do anyone know how to get this filter's cutoff frequency?

Yes, you may think of it as a lowpass filter, but this is somewhat unusual. If you define the lowpass filter's input as (opamp output) voltage, and its output as current, then you may model and calculate the Fc by finding out the impedance looking into the node when the Cc is hooked up to. Give us a schematic model.

Re: Low-pass filter

In a few words: it function as a pole splitter to improve the phase margin .

Re: Low-pass filter

Look at the attached lecture from the famous Sinencio - "Rail-to-rail OpAmp". You can get idea how to calculate the compensation.
