Click to expand... you can use a charge pump and a few capacitors to generate 10V DC from +5V. but current consumptio for +10V may not be too much. maxim corporation's many RS232 related product use this technology successfully. good luck. Click to expand... charge pump circuit works like this way fist phase VDC 5V connect to CAP+ and GND connect to CAP+ second phase VDC 5V connect to CAP- and VOUT connect to CAP+ then you get VOUT equals 10V in fact, due to switch loss,VOUT is lower than 10V.
