Hello,
How can I find out what nm or um technology an IC's Die has been made with? the IC can be anything any fpga, microcontroler, eeprom or....
I'm having trouble finding out this info on datasheets.
Rarely found in the dastasheet except for the first couple of products
on a brand new flow, where they are as interested in pimping the
process technology, as the product.
Go to the product page at the vendor and dig into "product
reliability" or "qualification" reports. These will have to discuss the
process qual status and therefore drop at least a few clues about
what the technology node is.
Although you may just see "CMOS8" and then have to go chase
the meaning of -that-, at least the field is narrowed down to one
(behind some semi-opaque glass).
