energy per symbol

anyone can help?

I don't know your mean

Raising the signal to a power of 2 and averaging, you will find the signal power. Product power of signal and symbol period is the energy per symbol.

hi, do you mean if is 64QAM, is 2 to the power of 6? and 6 is my energy per symbol??

No.

s(t) - signal(QAM, PSK ... never mind)

P = low pass filter( ( s(t) )^2 )

Es = P*Ts

maybe if someone can post me a link to read more information on this?
