How to export a symbolic variable or function from Matlab to a txt file?

does anyone know how to export a symbolic variable or function from Matlab to a txt file; in fact the fwrite does not work for symbolic !!!

If you want to use symbolic math, you need 'Symbolic Math Toolbox'. Then, solutions will be some equations rather than values.
