Hi,

I am some EMC/EMI issues in one of my board, which works at 100MHz. Especially in the oscillator area. Can any one suggest some ideas to eliminate?

Thanks,

Re: Ground plane rules

Hi,

try to check the following points :
1. Check any of the traces crossing the split planes under the routing layer.
If yes, re-route and avoid the crossing.
2. Change the traces from top or bottom to internal layers.
3. pour the copper under the component and provide via to link with the ground , if body need to be grounded for the oscillator.

I hope above suggestions will be useful for you to enhance the performance and reduce the risk of EMI.
