Newbie level 3
I can't seem to find a simple explaination of how to perform this calculation for a 10bit reading for an AD converter.
Actual voltage=Result of conversion */ quanta level
If Vref is 5v and using a 10bit A/D then quanta level is .0048828125 which is then
changed to 4.8828125 and then multiplied by 256 to give 1520 as a quanta level.
Now next is how to get actual voltage is where I'm confused. I don't think I know what */ is and how to use it in the calculation.
Suppose A/D reading was 512 so
Actual voltage = 512 */ 1250
Actual reading is 2500 or 2.5 volts
How is this performed 512 */ 1250 to get that result?
Thanks, your help is greatly appreciated.
