cadence simulation

hello,

im simulating my amplifier to look at its dc, ac, transisent performaces.
my sup. asked me to do a 4 corner simulation.
how do i do a corner simulation for that. how do i set all the models and parameters?
what do i look for in 4 corner simulation. how many corner is enough.

please help

Re: cadence simulation

you might also want to include variations in power supply and temperature.
If you are doing frequency compensation on chip. you should also include
the compensation capacitance in your corner simulation.

of course this increases the number of corners. you have now 3 * 3 * 3 * 4 = 108 simulations to do. writing the .DCF file for 108 corners is really boring work.

at that point AUTOCORNER can help. it is a graphical tool which generates a .DCF file as output.

I hope I provided at least some bit of help
