How to disable Windows USB 2.0 controller?

I want to disable my windows xp USB 2.0 controller

how can i do that ??????
 

disable usb 2.0 /sys

If you want to disable USB Controller - Hardware, goto device manager, select USB controller, right click and disable. Or you can uninstall the drivers.

USB 2 interface can work with USB 1 device, what is your problems?

I have a HP Laserjet 1020 printer
It has a lot of problem in windows xp SP2
on systems that i can disable usb 2 in the system setup , it works good
but on my laptop ( DELL 640m ) , i can't disable USB2 .... and it has problems like this :
when the print job needs more buffer ( for example a lot of paper ) , the printer prints some 5-10 paper and then i can not print more , ( i must turn off and on my printer ) ....
:D

please help me

Please down load the new driver for that printer here:

goto control panel\system
click on hardware list
right click on usb controller
click disable
