I need to design a fully on chip 8x charge pump.
But I am lack of experience in charge pump design, so I want to start from the 2x first.

I designed for the simplest one 2x charge pump with 4 NMOS and 4 PMOS transistor, but I am not sure how can I sizing them. Do any one have experience on this? And what phase clock frequency should I use?

Also, can I use 1.2V or 3.3V Vdd for my design?

Please suggest some textbooks/handbooks about charge pump for me if possible. I can't find any.
Thank you.

You should use non overlap clock.
You must generate a clock first.
And the voltage of 1.2 or 3.3 is ok.

you can see this patent, it should be helpful to you.
