how to debug custom bootloader jump to main applicatiion

hello all,
I've written a custom bootloader for STM32.I don't know how to check using break points whether my bootloader is jumping correctly to my application program as both the programs(i.e bootloader and application) are written separately in different projects.any suggestion plz.
