These scredrivers may draw ≈6Amps from 3.6V battery, so you have to build a switching voltage regulator rated for that current ..
Try something like LM2678-ADJ ..

In case it is hard for you to make a switching power supply yourself, so consider an analog one, just use a LM317 and a power transistor. Circuit and explanation you can get from LM317 datasheet from National semiconductor website, datasheet from this manufacturer contains full set of applications.
