now ,i have the hspice model , but i want to use the spectre to simulate again,

how can i convert it into spcetre ?

thank you first!!

Cadence has a built-in SPICE reader. If you are using the Analog Environment, simply go to Setup-Environment and set the SPICE Netlist Reader option to yes. If you are using the command line, refer to the spectre user's guide. Hope that helps.

Dear qqmz,

There is a spp (SPICE Pre Parser) utility in Cadence environment. You also can invoke it from the console. The command I suppose is :

spp -convert - hspcompatible <spicefile> <spectrefile>

Try it and come back with the results.

thank you !!!

but , i have chosen the spice netlist in the ade envirment,

and i have run the spp -convert hspcompitible <><> in the console,

but it does not work still ,?why?

I have also proble with spp command :cry. I have described errors in this topic: . Has anyone answer or solution for this problem?
Thank you very much.
