Dear friends

Thank you for letting me join this forum, i need it.
First of all, i have this Maxon EC flat motor EC45 brushless, with encoder.
And also i have the motor driver EPOS 24/5.

What i want to ask is, i don't know how to control this motor with the driver given.
And The motor has 8 pin fpc cable, which stands for VCC, GND, 3 motor winding, and 3 hall sensors, and the encoder consist of 8 pin cable, VCC, GND, channel A, A/, B, B/, i, i/. What and how to use them.
all this time i've only use simple DC motors with amplifier driver and polarity changer. Using PWM as the speed control.

Please help me...
Thanks

brushless maxon ec-45. flat driver

well, nobody replies maybe wrong section??

as i for now, i already able to control the motor using the EPOS driver, but i think to control lots of motor using one of these driver each motor will be relatively expensive, and it will be slow, since its using a serial communication.
I've already check using osilloscope, in its motor winding and hall sensors,
they both generates digital signals. As the velocity increasing that i gave to the motor (using a window dll software that the company provide), the signal is getting smaller. But, that signal only really clearly visible in the hall sensors, not in the motor winding (but in average the signal in motor winding is also a digital signal).

how to check an ecmotor

Hi,

I bought the same motor, and I would like to know which it is the signal that the Epos P send in every cable (winding 1, 2 and 3).
I thought may it is like a servo motor (Vcc, Gnd and control signal). In this case maybe I can use a servo motor controller? Becuase I would like to use the Arduino.
I hope you can help my. And any information that you can give me about the motor or the Epos P is more than wellcome.

Cheers,
